Welcome to Wild at Heart Garden....a peaceful place in rural Lincolnshire where I live and make my paintings. The Studio is situated in a Wild Garden created from a retired smallholding.
Private Art Workshops
I hold private workshops here teaching creative and imaginative art using either oils or watercolour and inks. Going beyond reality is the aim. Experimenting with the provided art materials, students can learn the different techniques and processes of making abstract art.
My 1-1 tutorials are suitable for beginners and experienced artists.
Have a relaxed time here, all the materials are provided and you can go home with your new artwork.

Autumn and Winter 2026/2027
'Thrills and Spills'
Making backgrounds for paintings on paper.
Using acrylic inks and other water-based materials, these abstracts are made with a 'press and print' method. Resembling paint spills on a floor, they are quite unpredictable.
Use as a background for a painting or maybe use in some future collage work.
Suitable for beginners.
£ 60 - All materials provided

Oil Painting Workshops with Private Tuition
If you want to be imaginative in your own art or want to learn something of how I paint, these Oil painting tutorials could be right for you. All materials are supplied. Experiment with oils and the addition of cold wax medium.
Thursdays 11-2.30pm. £60

Have a relaxing time to experiment with different materials and go home with your new work inspired to make more.
You have a choice of water-based or oil paint.
You can design your own pictures using your imagination and make something that is truly unique and yours.
