Yes. If I know in advance I can plan an appropriate package for you. You will be able to practice with the materials supplied and take home your new paintings.

Yes. The workshop is suitable for anyone wanting to have a day experimenting with the materials and sharing ideas. You are welcome to bring any inspirational ideas with you.

The Artist quality oil paints used here will not contain pure cadmium or cobalt. Some of the oils have alkyd resin to assist fast drying. I use Gamsol and Alkyd gels, plus Winsor & Newton Liquin mediums. Cold wax medium contains beeswax and resin. No turpentine. For cleaning brushes there is Safflower oil, Masters Soap and Ecover hand soap. As with any paint materials, please be aware of sensitivities and staining on skin and clothes. Some people may have a sensitivity to oil paints so bring your own protective things if wished. The studios are well ventilated. Gloves will be provided and baby wipes. The surfaces we use will be paper, canvas and wood panel.

All materials are provided. Please bring protective clothes or apron if needed. Also a picnic lunch. There is a fridge for you to use. If you have special beverages, please bring whatever you prefer.

Wild at Heart Studios and Gallery are spread across 3 different locations on the property. The pathways to the garden cabins are quite narrow and on gravel. Due to the nature of the wild garden you might need some assistance. A small assisted wheelchair should be fine but electric powered wheelchairs are not advisable in my studio rooms as there isn't sufficient turning space inside to manoeuvre. There are raised doorsteps into the studios in my home but with a small wheelchair and carer present you should be able to visit.

Payment can be made by bank transfer and my bank details will be given to you by private email on request. Fees paid when booking are advised to secure your place.

Yes. Please allow at least 48 hours to cancel a booking so I can offer the place to another person. If a booking is cancelled with 14 days notice I shall refund any fee already paid.
