These abstract paintings are purely about colour, line, mark-making and expression.

They might be inspired by shapes and lines I see in nature. Imaginative and intuitive drawing in paint.

These oil paintings are inspired by ageing and worn surfaces...

I notice worn and old objects, things gradually ageing and showing layers of paint or rust. The pile of bricks or things on a demolition site. Puddles in mud, fallen trees and old buildings. These are some of my favourite things to imagine in my pictures.

Most of my paintings can be seen in my Studio and an opportunity to visit will be the last weekend in June for the Creative Lincs Art Trail. My Studio will be open for 3 days.
