Private oil painting workshops
Oil Painting workshops are held on some Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays for one or two students.
The day will suit beginners or an artist looking for a relaxing day to enjoy experimenting with oils and the addition of some mediums and cold wax on paper, panel and canvas.
All art materials will be provided with refreshments available during the day. Just bring your lunch. There is a fridge for you to use.
The Workshop will start at 10.30am and close at 3.30pm. I shall give you personal one-to-one sharing of ideas and you can experiment with the materials.
At the end of the day you will go home with your finished paintings. The fee for your day is £95 per person.

Landscape or Abstract...
The choice is yours...there are no rules. The day is designed to give you freedom to make your own decisions.
Guidance and a sharing of ideas will give you confidence to explore possibilities.
These are some of my oil sketches on gessoed 300gsm paper. I shall do some during my workshop. Different sizes and format make it interesting.
These are quick sketches using a limited palette. It gives a suggestion of the natural landscape without being too literal.
Alternatively, I enjoy making abstract work with marks and scribbles. You can let your imagination run free and design your own.
Let your confidence grow as you experiment with the different art materials.
