Studio 'housework'
Getting ready for the Open Studios.
I have been adding some oil glazes to canvases and finishing the edges to neaten them. The two small canvases are used as test pieces for demonstration.
Having some leftover black I scrubbed it on. It might get covered with more paint or act as a contrast for lighter colours. They are not finished pieces.
Preparing for a forthcoming workshop I have gessoed some birch panels. They are drying on the tables.
Small 'business' cards with a difference. Little pieces of my paintings with my contact details on the back. Some of them are longer and can be used as a bookmark.
Some new watercolour and inks abstracts made into greetings cards. Buy some to keep or send to a friend.
